Many of you have stated in the past that dreadful fear of what is to become of Opie. It appears as though these fears are becoming closer to reality (in the show at least) as they can be. We'll have to wait and see just how this one pans out.
ATF Agent June Stahl plays a mean role in this episode. After Otto gave her a little head banging lesson in the last episode, we had to see this plot of vengeance against the Son's as a whole coming. She's chosen Opie as her pawn in an evil little game of set up. Too bad she's put Opie's life on the line. She's even turning on local Deputy Chief of the Charming Police Department, David Hale. All I know is She ain't playing fair. Although, all is fair in love and war.
I have to wonder if planting bugs in Opie's truck and in his cell phone was to actually listen in, or to further help the set up of Opie. If the later, why did she say she needed to go protect him when he was given his freedom?
Another turning point in this episode was the new interaction of Jax, Wendy, Abel, Gemma, and Tara. WTF is Gemma up to with Wendy? Is it just her little way of getting vengeance on Tara for breaking Jax's heart years ago? Can it be that simple? Will we know before the season is up? What is to become of Tara if Wendy is back in the picture? I'm guessing since Wendy has to spend some time at the halfway house, we wont know yet this season.
Opie is in deep sh*t! I hope muncher Hale comes to the rescue too, Dean. I kind of think he may be swaying a little that way. We can only hope. I was also proud of Donna, standing strong with Opie and as a result, the club. I hope the club finds out soon enough that Opie didn't rat.
ReplyDeleteGemma's strong sense of family is what's pushing her to get Wendy and Jax back together, AND she can eliminate Tara at the same time. I think she knows she can manipulate Wendy far better than she can Tara, and that might be her real motivation.
Next week is the last episode for this season. Pooh! What will we all do! The preview for next week looked pretty wild, though. I can't wait. I'm guessing the cliffhanger will be Tig setting his sight on Opie as the preview showed, but we won't know till next season if he pulled the trigger or not. We'll see next week!

I think Opie lives. The good cop is going to let the cat out of the bag. He's too by the book to let bitch Stahl get away with what she is doing. He did not much care for being escorted out. Take a mans wolfer away and he's pissed. Even if it was the wolfer herself.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Lady R about Gemma, she knows that Tara is a strong woman and won't be easily pushed around, whereas Wendy is a mess and she can keep her under her thumb.
I have a feeling that we are in for a big shock, and that someone totally unexpected will be the one in the body bag.

I think our surprise body bag guest will be Tig. I think Jax is going to see him trying to take out Opie, and Jax is going to shoot his ass good and F'n dead!
I know some of you gals have been hot for him, but there is something about him I don't like.
He's got a really bad side. I don't trust him any more than Clay.

mr. m! Oh no! Say it ain't so. Not twisted Tig! I wouldn't say I'm hot for him, but he makes watching VERY interesting. He's alluring BECAUSE of his bad side. The forbidden always attracts. ReplyDeleteI don't like Tig. He makes me physically ill. Being a bad boy is one thing, wanting to have sex with dead bodies puts you in a whole new category. He does have some great one-liners, but I could do without him.

Gemma knows that Jax truely loves Tara and Tara the same, she wants jax to fight for Tara and get rid of Wendy. There is no way Gemma will ever forgive Wendy for nearly killing her Abe. There is alot more to her plan just watch it unfold. Woman are devious.
What i would love to see is a cat fight between gemma and agent stahl. Bring it on!!

ReplyDeleteI'd be sad if Tig goes...yes he's twisted but he makes it interesting and makes me laugh. Twisted people make for good TV. I think Monkey is pretty right on with his comments on the show. Only two episodes left. I hope they bring it back for season 2.

ReplyDeleteWow - I've known ATF to play dirty but that broad is over the top. I'm proud of Donna for sticking it out. I think this whole siutation will strengthen their family in the long run...Op's mom is a real peach!
I'm not liking the little conspiracy between Tig and Clay. They should have brought Jax in on the info and I think Opie should be able to defend himself. They all seem to know the ATF broad is a coniving bitch - but they are too quick to jump to conclusions about Opie. I think Tig is going after Opie harder because he's Jax friend, and Tig is having problems with Jax...I'm surprised he didn't try to convince Clay tha Jax was a problem too, since he was there as well.
I hope Hale does the right thing. He seems to try to be a straight shooter (no pun intended. And now that he has been burned by Ms. ATF by being escorted out of the building, he's got to realize just how "used" he was!
Can't wait for next week, but wish is wasn't the last for the season. From the previews, it looks to be a real cliff hanger! Anyone know how long it will be before season two starts?
One last thing - Maybe I’m late to the party on this - but is anyone concerned about the SOA memoribilia being sold on ebay and other sites? I’m just waiting for the news flash that someone got the sh*t kicked out of them because they were walking around with a SOA back patch and a California Rocker! Not sure about other states, but the California rocker is a touchy subject and many folk have been hurt for the wearing of it without “Proper Permission”.

Yes, I know some states are touchier than others. I don't know about California; however, I've been told that the Bandito's will "agressively defend" their right to wear the Texas rocker. Someone who's not privy to some of this info may get an education that they weren't expecting.

The bad part is whoever is marketing these things is branching out to include several States. I think it could get ugly!
There are also embroidered "wall patches". These are top and bottom SOA - California rockers with the Reaper Center Patch. You know some RUB is going to sew those on a vest and ride down the road - heaven help him!
I realize most folks know about the show, but you are right d-day -If you didn't earn it, it some brothers minds it's a sign of disrespect...and they will react accordingly.
You're right on Mr. M...It's a whole lot different than wearing your friendly OCC t-shirt.
But those shirts are really getting marketed all over the place. We received a flyer at my work wondering if we wanted to stock these shirts. Luckily I'm in a position to say "no way!".
