Dear Mother F#@!*%, oops I mean Mother Nature

Please accept my letter and consider this a formal complaint about the way you've been doing business here in Minnesota lately.

You've been harrassing us bikers with teases of 50's, then snow, then 60's, then snow, then warm again, then snow again, then warm, and now tonight finally an icy, snowy, rainy, sleety mess.
Just exactly what time of year do you think this is? ... January?
I'm fed up. I've had just about enough of your funny stuff. How do you expect me to ride a motorcycle in this kind of weather?

Do you think you are funny?

Ha Ha, well jokes getting old now. Kicking a dead horse!, Tits up. Not funny any more.

I don't wanna have to say it, but if you keep this up, I'm likely to pack up my stuff and find Lucky.
( http://pizzacrusade.blogspot.com/2008/04/links-and-update-on-vx800.html ) He say's Arizona is getting hot. Even if he's stuck carpooling, He gets to at least ride evenings, and weekends.

What the Heck did he do to get special treatment?
What the Heck did I do wrong?

I expected more out of you by April 10th, and I want some resolve A.S.A.P., OR THE NEXT TIME I'M CALLING YOUR SUPERVISOR, and I won't be so nice.

Sincerely,
One very unsatisfied customer.

Mr. Motorcycle

  2. Desert Motorat,

Even if they did, I wouldnt ride. I don't snowmobile either. I don't even ride if it's raining. I'm a fair weather rider. Me and my bike ain't made for that kinda Sh*t.

Snow tires. Don't hear that much these days since tire technology has come so far. Snow tires reminds me of those donoughts that you get in a variety pack. Sand tires, snow tires and mud tires is what we call 'em at our house.

  3. I guess I'm a fair weather rider also. I've earned my water wings, no doubt, but if I have a choice? Bring on the sunshine.

  4. Mr. Motorcycle,

It's been almost 25 years since I lived in a cold climate. I remember those old studded snow tires. They use to tear the hell out of my driveway. I'm with you on the riding in bad weather, I only do it when I have to.

  5. She's not doing us Mass-holes any favors either!

Unless she works for Zappos.com, don't hold your breath waiting for satisfaction.

  7. Ok, So how do you REALLY feel? Sorry to hear you're having a time trying to get on the road.
This is why I moved to Southern California. It take some getting used to, but as long as the weather holds out, I'll stay around.
Thanks for posting and nice to make your aquaintance

  8. Camron,

It's going to be a high of 35 degrees today, and there is snow and ice on the ground.

But won't last last long. By Tuesday, we are supposed to be hitting the 60's. Hope it stays that way, and doesn't get cold again.

May Mother Nature took heed of my warnings.

  9. I live next door in Wisconsin so I feel your pain. The weather here was just nice enough about a week ago that I took Dixie out of storage. Now it's been cold and rainy since. I agree, she has a cruel sense of humor.

  11. Dean "D-day",

You are my neighbor, but your on tne farthest edge of Wisconsin. Practiclly Michigan. Too bad so far away. It'd be cool to hook up go for a ride.

You were one of the ones I went, "glad it's not me" about when the big storm went through. I watched it just skirt below the Twin Cities in Minnesota. We just got the Northern most tip of that storm you refered to in your blog with the 8 inches in all.

I've also linked to you. Nice blog.
