What a horrible way to start the holiday weekend.
I can't help but wonder what the hell happened here. It must have been a chain reaction crash.
I hope all of you had a safe holiday weekend. I got to ride my bike to and from the family cabin this weekend and the weather for the ride was absolutely gorgeous. I was able to clear my head, and just plain enjoy the thunder of the bike below me and feel the stresses of everyday life roll away with the miles behind me.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. My thoughts and prayers go out to those riders and family's who did not.
I hope everyone comes out of this okay in the end, but you have to wonder what happened ... 5 motorcycles and no cars involved.

ReplyDeleteWe went for a ride this morning. It was 111°F and it sucked. Next Saturday will be 114°F. Can't wait til October. :)

How close together were they riding that 5 got involved?

ReplyDeleteWe had the Moto GP in town this weekend. I wouldn’t even want to guess at how many inexperienced riders crashed around here.

ReplyDeleteWe just got back from Panama City yesterday. Traffic was very heavy and kept me on my toes for sure!
Glad you got a nice ride in too. Nothing better than a little road therapy to make all things right again.
Most likely they all were out to prove which one of them had the most balls. Looks like they bit off more than they could chew.
