2008 Fall Flood Run Pictures
The 2008 Fall Flood Run benefiting the Gillette Children's Hospital was a huge success. The beautiful weather brought out a gazillion bikes.
The early fall weather was absolutely gorgeous. It was in the mid to high seventies by afternoon, and that's all the hotter it got. We biker's couldn't have asked for a better day for riding. As you can see the fall colors are just starting. It made for some spectacular scenery. You should see these areas in about a month or so when all the fall colors are in complete bloom. It is amazing!
Anyway, I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking as for how great of a day this was.

Nice pics. Looks like you had a great day!
Wonderful pics! Looks like the perfect day.
Whew...had to take a breath. Awesome picts. I miss the fall colors. We don't get that around here cause it's summer all year long. lol
I want to get one of those skunk hats. Thanks for taking us along. Love that picture of that bitch'in bike on the roadside.
Nice shots man. Looks like a good time.
I love it when the leaves start turning. We will be a few more weeks before we see any thing change. We are still having high 80's everyday and it's not dropping enough at night yet.
Looks like you had a nice ride and it always nice when the weather is great too!
Dean "D-Day" and B.B. and Bcarter,
Thanks It was a great day! I just wish the long all day rides weren't so few and far between for me.
FLHX_Dave,
I"ll be sure to take more fall color pics when they really come out. Summer all year to me, just means a lot of hot weather, vs. cold weather. Neither are fun to ride in if you ask me. I like the moderate temps. Wish I could have them all year round.
I kind of like that bitchin bike on the roadside myself. Thanks!
Lady Ridesalot,
Fall is my favorite time of year. We have the mild perfect riding temps, and the fall colors are spectacular! You'll get yours soon! Too bad fall is followed by winter. Oh, well, will have to go snowmobiling!
Great ride I'll bet. You need to let the guy on the black bike his plate is not legal.lol
Webster World,
I'll be sure and let him know. Last I heard, He was working on it.
Besides, I, I mean He was riding it in Wisconsin, not Minnesota for most of that day! LOL!
Those are GREAT pictures!! I don't think we will be able to ride this weekend because there is no gas in the ATL.
Marcie,
Sorry to hear about no riding!
That no gas thing really stinks!
I can't fathom no gas! I also can't imagine what it will cost for the few gallons you can get?!?
