I live at 1 Frozen place in, Minnesota, United States
My real name is Mark. For many years now my wife has called me Mr. Motorcycle. When I started my Blog I was looking for a catchy blog name, so I went with it. I'm happily married and I'm also a father of 6 children. I have two human offspring, one dog, two cats and one custom Harley. I believe that makes 6 children. When I'm not doing my real full time job, or going for a ride, I like to do art, custom paint jobs, and of course BLOG. If you would like to contact me, my e-mail address is phonetically spelled for avoiding spammers. (I actually do use the number 1 in the beginning.) 1mrmotorcycleATgmailDOTcom

The photo above is my ride :
"Kenny" started life as a stock '97, 883 Sportster. It's been a work in progress since the day I bought it many years ago. Its mostly custom with a built, "slightly juiced up" 1200 motor.
The Metal Fabrication, bodywork and custom paint was done by me.

How the Hell did I come up with a name like Kenny for my bike you ask?...... Most people who name their rides, go with chick names. I of course had to be different. I think bikes look tough, cool and masculine; not feminine. Plus, my father "Ken" has helped make me who I am today. Therefore with a little twist on the name, my bike was named "Kenny".

Rumor has it....

Now mind you, I tried to check this out on Snopes.com to see if there was any validity to this, but they had nothing, so for now, I'll have to believe it is so.

Rumor has it that Honda is supposedly releasing a factory "Fury Chopper".

Although I will always be partial towards Harley Davidson, I gotta admit this is not a bad lookin mota scoota for around $20K. U.S.

My sources say this is the real deal. It's official debut will be at the International Motorcycle Show in NYC today.

Seems like it's gonna happen. It looks good, but don't know if I'd want one of these

Got to admit - it is a very nice looking factory bike, no matter who the builders happen to be. BTW did I hear that all motorcycle production from Honda has moved back to Japan??

Hmmmm.....very interesting....I like the look, but I'm not really a chopper kinda gal.

One Harley Rider,
You heard correctly. On Dec. 12th, 2008, On Contemplative Thoughts, (Dean D-Day's Blog), I commented after doing some research that The Dayton Ohio: Honda Motor Co. plant plans to stop making motorcycles in the United States next year and transfer the work to Japan, pulling the plug on its first U.S. plant.

I referenced this article:

Weather or not they followed through with that plan is still a question for me.

It's not too bad! It's actually pretty darn nice! I'm not a huge fan of the tail but I could overlook...

Nice, but at a glance I thought it was a Vic. I like looking at choppers but they're not my kind of ride.

It does look pretty nice, but I always thought the nice thing about a chopper is it's originality. Riders "chop" a bike and customize it to have something that looks like no other, on the road. How cool will it be if your new "Chopper" looks just like the guys' next door.

But, it is a nice looking bike. I don't think I would like to ride it though.

I think it looks pretty good. I like the way the tank comes into the frame. It will be good for someone. I'm still a hard core HD man.

It's look is very close to the Victory. I'm not a big fan of these kinds of bikes. My short stature, makes this bike out of reach for me...and I just can't see myself traveling 300-500 miles in a day bent like a wishbone. I'm sure my kidneys would quit in protest after the first 100 miles.

It's a cool looking bike I have to admit. I agree totally with those who mentioned it looks like a Vic. I also leave it to "each their own." Not my kind of bike, but any of you who know me I think realize I won't ever ride anything else but a Harley. To be fair though, the V-Rod is a Harley, and I don't like it either.

I would have went for it 20 years ago most definitely. Now, I'm all about retro and very cool. Getting there fast no longer matters. Getting there comfortable and stylish does.

Choppers aren't my thing, but I can look at them (and this) and say nice bike. I am not wrapped up in a brand or a lifestyle, other than two wheels are terrific.Ride a 'Wing, would love an Ultra, just sat on a BMW F650GS that seemed like it would make a great city commuter bike. Oh well - so many neat bikes, so little money :):)
