My real name is Mark. For many years now my wife has called me Mr. Motorcycle. When I started my Blog I was looking for a catchy blog name, so I went with it. I'm happily married and I'm also a father of 6 children. I have two human offspring, one dog, two cats and one custom Harley. I believe that makes 6 children. When I'm not doing my real full time job, or going for a ride, I like to do art, custom paint jobs, and of course BLOG. If you would like to contact me, my e-mail address is phonetically spelled for avoiding spammers. (I actually do use the number 1 in the beginning.) 1mrmotorcycleATgmailDOTcom

"Kenny" started life as a stock '97, 883 Sportster. It's been a work in progress since the day I bought it many years ago. Its mostly custom with a built, "slightly juiced up" 1200 motor.
The Metal Fabrication, bodywork and custom paint was done by me.

How the Hell did I come up with a name like Kenny for my bike you ask?...... Most people who name their rides, go with chick names. I of course had to be different. I think bikes look tough, cool and masculine; not feminine. Plus, my father "Ken" has helped make me who I am today. Therefore with a little twist on the name, my bike was named "Kenny".

Son's of Anarchy Episode 10 review

I feel like I keep repeating myself when I say that this show keeps getting better each episode.

Last nights tenth episode was clearly no exception either!
The plot thickens, the action increases, and the more I see, the more I'm sucked in. I was one of the few it seems that liked the show from the very first episode, so you can imagine how much I'm enthralled now.

Last night Gemma was full of good one liners and quick wit. I loved her comment about the rosary beads to the Irishman.

I also thought the cop and ATF woman was an interesting ordeal. We all saw that one coming. No pun intended.

The twists I did not see coming was Cheri's past being revealed, and when the ATF agent got a face lift of sorts at the end.

O.K., my reviews may seem really short, but I'm keeping these short and sweet deliberately because some of the best review of the shows are your comments.

So Lets have it.

Best Line:
(Gemma to ATF agent) "Maybe you should unscrew your penis and try being a woman."

Best Action:
Otto doing the multiple head slams into the table with the ATF agent's head.

Contemplative Thought:
What does this say about me that I'm cheering for the outlaws to kick the good guys' asses?

I agree with the fact, that it's getting better and better. I usually Tivo shows and watch them the next day. (I love zipping through the commercials) But, I stay up to watch this one, because I enjoy our little review sessions.

Yes Dean... that was by far the best line. I think I liked the one about the rosary beads second best. She's one smooth lady.

I had to snicker about the ATF agent and the cop getting a severe case of the "munchies". Mr. M, you were right... "we should have seen that coming". (Your pun was very well placed and I'm sure it was intended! LOL!)

I hope Opie's wife decides to hang tough and stay with him. He's so distracted. I have a bad feeling though, that Opie is heading for a big hole, about 6 feet deep.

Head slamming the Agent took me totally by surprise. I agree with Dean... at that point, I was cheering for the "bad guys". Woo Hoo! (Just one more time! SLAM!)

The previews for next week look pretty intense. I can't wait!

I only wish it were on everyday! I too have a very bad feeling about Opie.
As for the head slamming, we laughed so hard we had to rewind it and watch it again. Are we warped or what? I especially loved when they tried to clean her up and she got all demonic.
I for one did not see the ATF and cop tryst coming, I thought he was too uptight for that kinda thing.

Wer'e all squirrels just trying to get a nut. There are bad guys and good guys on all sides of the law. Justification and association is in the eye of the beholder. Heh, leave it to me to try and pull some meaning out of the media garbage that I currently am endulging in with great delite...along with gangland. I'm just curious I guess. It sucks to be me sometimes.

Lady Ridesalot,

I record the sho too. Last night is the first time I've had to wath the recorded version though. I was out late last night. I made special effort to watch it last night though so we could chat about it today. "severe case of the "munchies". and snickering about it. LOL! I must say back in my highschool days there was a girl who got nicknamed Snickers. Her and her boyfriend got the name together. I'leave the rest up to your imagination.

B.B.,

I too wish it were on everyday, except then I have to watch everyday, and post about it everyday, and comment about it everyday, and I'd never get any work done.

FLHX_Dave,

I agree with you deep thought man.
I also think keeping it simple, that if we are watching this show, and rooting for the bad guys in a way, than the writers are doing a damn fine job.

Mr. Motorcycle said...

Dean,
Meant to include you in last comment, but missed for some reason.
I agree with the best lines totally.
Also it means you are a twisted Muther F'er.

Just kidding. It means like I said earlier the writers are doing a damn fine job.

I think dean d-day said it all!

Gemma was on her game last night. The rosery beads and the penis comment were just too perfect. Reminds me of my mum! (sniff)

One of the best episodes ever. This is one show that takes the gloves off both sides and shows there are no "good guys" or "bad guys". It's all in your perspective of the situation - the old beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I have the unique ability to see both sides since I've been on both. This show hits it as close as it can to reality.

We have a "SOA" get together at work every Thursday to discuss each episode. Way to cool.

I'm with B.B. I want this show to be on everyday of the week! LOVE IT!

Gemma rocks...she's one badass bitch.

The thing that bugged me is Cherry...you wanna be some guys old lady but you bail when the heat gets too hot.

Big Daddy said...

What I love is some of our club members have been considering giving Ann the road name "Gemma"
Kicks ass and when she speaks You listen.
That's my girl;]

Steph-
It wasn't just getting hot for Cherry - it was scorching. She was looking at extradition and 25 years in the slam. I have the feeling that she'll be back.

"Live to fight another day."

Mr. Motorcycle said...

Hawkeye,
I see you are new around here. Welcome!
When you said, "It's all in your perspective of the situation - the old beauty is in the eye of the beholder." I think you hit the nail on the head.

I think it's really cool that your workplace has an SOA get together.

Iowa Harley Girl,
I don't think Cherry had a choice. She had to either nark out the club,(not an option), run away to avoid going to jail and not being able to see Half Sack, or Go to prison and not be able to see Half Sack. I think her best choice was to run. I think the only mistake she made was joining up with the club in the first place.

Big Daddy,
I think that's a good name for Gemma,(oops, I mean Ann).

Mr. Motorcycle said...

Dean,

I wonder if she does dome back, will she get away with it? Or will the Feds be watching the club. I don't think the club will let her back in.

Dean "D-Day" said...

Oh, I'm not saying that the club will let her back in. I just think that she won't be able to stay away from Half-Sack. That's what originally brought her to Charming. (Even before she knew him real well.)

Dean,
You're probably on to something here.

Ya gotta figure the probies women is going to Mexico to die or they sold her. Too big of a mouth. The head dunk was cool. And we all have a little outlaw in us I think. Be it the Godfather, Jesse James,or Samcro. We want law. But beating the system I think comes from getting an undeserved ticket or having an ass for a boss.

I missed it again on Wed...have to catch up later (its just plain too late to stay up on a school night!)

Here's some of my favorite moments not yet addressed:
1) Donna telling the ATF woman "Get out of my house, Bitch!" I didn't know she had it in her.
2) The guys starting a barroom brawl, then kicking back as if they were innocent bystanders...CLASSIC!

There's so much that is noteworthy about every episode. I just realized, we are in double digits...the season will be ending soon. What will we all do then????

Ann said...

I would be honored to have the road name Gemma. She is my favorite!!!

My favorite line was the one about the rosary beads...2nd fave: the penis comment! Love her!

Hawkeye said...

Having given it some thought and re-watching the episode I came to a possible scenario for Cherry. Look who is taking her to Canada. The brother that offed the Mayan leader's son! I think she may be a goner...I know the Irish dude is going as well...but I think he is safer than Cherry. He still has a use, she does not! She's a loose end and they can always tell half-sack she took off.

Just an evil thought!

Mr. Motorcycle said...

Webster World,
I think you may be right. we'll have to see. As far as you perspective on all of us having a little outlaw in us due to a possible undeserved ticket or an ass for a boss, and wanting to beat the system... Don't know if it goes for the rest of Ya'll, but I'm there.

Mrs R.C.,
Realizing the season is almost ending sucks. I never thought of that till now.

Ann, er Gemma,
Great lines I agree.

Hawkeye,
I wonder if your evil thought will pan out.

Great show. I too have been a fan since the beginning. Actually looked forward to it all summer. I was shocked when Otto started bashing that cops head in to the table. That was crazy. Can't wait till next week.

Dean "D-Day" said...

They replayed this episode last night so I had to watch it again. Still love the head-slamming at the end.

I paid close attention to Opie's hands when he and Jax were working on that bike. Beautiful white manicured nails. I wonder if anyone is bothering to point these things out to the writers?!?

Mr. Motorcycle said...

Dean,
I wonder as well.
